Handmade ceramic tumbler with handle

Modern archaic handmade ceramic cup with decorative handle. Inspired by the 6th and 7th centuries. Decorated with relief representations depicting the satyr who seems to be hunting maenads in the forests with a playful mood, embodying intense desire and hedonism. While in the first and third zones the pattern that appears above and below the central representation is the ripple which shows the continuous flow, the life-giving power of water as well as the constant rhythmic movement of nature itself which is constantly renewed. Finally the solid black allowed the figures and mythological scenes to stand out. It is made of patina terracotta (Restoration).
